Brief Answer:
Hip hematomas can be treated medications such as acetaminophen
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Hip hematomas can be treated medications such as acetaminophen
Cold compress or ice pack application for 20 to 30 minutes for the 48 hours following injury will reduce swelling.
If the region near hip become reddish and become inflammed surgical drainage is a common method of treatment for certain hematomas.
I would also advise him to do a MRI of hip joint
