Question: My husband has fluid in his right lung. He has a drainage tube. He drains the fluid twice a day. The amount of fluid is about 450 ml. each time. This has been going on for two weeks with no reduction in the amount of fluid.

This kind of continuous fluid from right chest drainage tube is mostly seen with pleural malignancy like mesothelioma.
Another possibility is drug resistant infection like tuberculosis or pyothorax.
