Question : My husband is on Briviact 50 mg x 2 a day profylactically, but can’t get refill till several days and neurologist is @not available. He has lamictal 25 mg wondering if he can take that while waiting for refill.
He does not have seizures, he has an artificial heart valve from 2013, and had a stroke 2018, another 2019, under control now no lasting effects.

Hello dear,
He can take lamictal 25mg once instead of briviact 50 mg twice daily.
Both are anticonvulsant drugs ,used to prevent seizures possibly caused by the stroke he had before.
