Question : My husband took naltrexone before stopping alcohol and drugs and it sent him into a precipitated withdrawal. It’s been 48 hours and he’s still in agonizing pain especially in his head. Is there something we can do?

Naltrexone can not be used with other painkillers due to interactions.
So, in case that the pain continues, I recommend to go at the emergency room for evaluation and specific treatment.
