My Kid Ruchith 5 Years Suffering From Low Grade Fever From Last 5 Days

The thyroid hormones are within the range.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through your query and your attached report.
Your kid has slightly high TSH level but both the thyroid hormones(T4 and T3) are within the range for his age.
Considering the increased TSH level result,i suggest to do an TPO test that is an early predictive marker in thyroid disease.
About the low grade fever i suggest to do a CBC test ,and CRP test and to consult the local pediatrician if the fever persist for more than 5 days. The pediatrician may need to investigate further for underlying causes.
You don’t need to be concerned if your child continues to be playful and is eating and drinking normally.Fevers of less than five days if your child's behavior is relatively normal ,are not dangerous.
Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if i can assist you further.
Take care.

It is neccessary to do other tests.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
I appologise for the late reply.
Serological tests are often used to differentiate between patients with typhoid fever and those with other febrile illnesses.
Typhoid fever is an acute illness that is contracted by drinking or eating the bacteria in contaminated food or water.
For the convertion from positive to negative typhoid test it is necessary more than three days and it is necessary to take the treatement with antibiotics which kill the Salmonella bacteria.
With appropriate antibiotic therapy, there is usually clinical improvement within one to two days and recovery within seven to 10 days.
For this reason i think that probably the first result can be a false positive result.
The your son's pediatrician exclude an upper respiratory tract infection, the most common cause that explain fever and cough and the fever persist for more than 5 days than my advice is to consult a pediatriciac infection disease specialist to check for other specific infection diseases.
A CBC and CRP test and the lung auscultation are neccessary to understand more about the rrot cause of your son'ds symptoms.
Hope this is helpful.
Wish you good helath.
