Regular menstrual 28 days
No birth controls since 2010
Gained 7 pounds within 2 weeks which is unusual because I'm good at maintaining my weight

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
The recent weight gain is likely to have created hormone imbalance and resulted in the delay. However, a proper evaluation is necessary to determine the cause of the delay.
A complete hormone assay can help to know if there is any disturbance and the need for correction. Evaluation is also needed to determine whether your weight gain is caused by the hormone imbalance.
Infections have to be excluded. Blood counts, urinalysis, sonogram of the pelvis, pap smear, swabs of the vagina and cervix if necessary, should be done.
Further management can be planned accordingly.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.
