My Liver Enzymes Are Elevated And I Have Been Experiencing Pain How To Get Rid Of The Abdominal Pain. What Should I Do?
Question: My liver enzymes are elevated and I have been experiencing abdominal pain for quite some time. I had acute pancreatitis about two years ago which resulted in having my gallbladder removed. My abdominal pain is not as severe as it was with the pancreatitis but it is persistent. I sometimes am constipated and then I will have diarrhea. I, however, don't seem to get rid of the abdominal pain. What should I do?

- Drink more liquids in sessions.
- Consume a bland diet at present.
- Avoid all spices, non-veg, junk foods.
- Discuss the need of ultrasound with or without CT scan of the abdomen & pelvis for
the final diagnosis and further management.
Do not think your primary physician will not take you seriously.
However, if you can provide me with reports of the lab as an attachment in follow up, I can guide in further details.
