My Mom Went To The Doctor Last Week Because Her
Question: My mom went to the doctor last week because her kidney area was hurting for the last two months. He said he believes it to be a stuck kidney stone and arranged for an ultrasound Feb 5. Now her left side is swollen under her ribs. Do you think its okay that she wait until Feb 5 to see the doctor or should she call the doctor and request an earlier appt?

Yes, her left side hurts now. She was having a hard time urinating when she went to the doctor last week. Now that has stopped and her left side and the swelling has started. She has a call in to her doctor but he hasn’t called back yet. Not sure how urgent it is
