Hi,

Do you mean she developed abdominal symptoms after the COVID or has she had symptoms prior to it?
Can you explain the symptoms?

Gastritis resolves with medications. However medical treatment doesn't prevent future gastritis. Long term gastritis treatment is possible with dietary change - avoiding spices and eating regular meals; sleeping adequately and physical exercise.

After covid.. We consulted gastric doctor. They did endoscopy and colonoscopy for her and they said that they noticed tini ulcers in terminal lieum(bioscopy taken).

But they didn't give any medicine for it.. They gave only one table pantacid tablet (emty stomach medicine)

Could you please advise any medicine has to be taken for it? Or normally will get be resolved?

If you haven't received it yet, please follow up with the centre and obtain it. Further management will be based on it.

Pantocid is an effective medication for ulcer. If needed you can also add syp sucralfate for added benefits. Please discuss with her treating doctor.

I have included Biopsy report as well as medicine that she took so far. Could you please review them too and let us know what action needs to be take care for her health..

She is having very high gastric problem.. she is eating only rice item, if she eats other than rice item, getting gastric problem immediately on same day only.

Nothing seriously concerning in the report....

Hi,

The biopsy ruled out inflammatory bowel disease as well as tumours; so the ulcers are not seriously worrying and should subside soon. She is been treated with appropriate infection control and acid lowering medications.

If pantocid isn't helping much, we may switch over to other PPI medications like Cap nexpro L twice daily before food for couple of weeks along with probiotics such as tab vsl #3 twice daily for 3-5 days.

Pantacid is helping.. Can she use this tablet when she feel uncomfortable and if she use it regularly on need basis, will there any problems?
