Question : My mother is 80 years old and for several years has had an explosive bowel moverment almost every morning. Is this normal? If she is not near a bathroom it is awful because when she has to go, she has to go now! What can we do to help her?

Hello and sorry to hear about it, As we age our nerve starts up to degenerate(age related).
As nerve changes are irreversal changes and all this is indicating that nerve fibres are generating.
One can take multivitamin to try to delay the worse.
