Question: l am currently having a discussion with a MD who insists that my pain is not as bad as I think, disregarding the fact that I received 70% disability in 2009 from the VA and 100% SSA in 2010 because it was decided I get no better , my question is do you think anti-inflammatory drugs and physical therapy will replace oxycodone that I've taking successfully for the last 9 years (I'm allergic to every anti-inflammatory drugs I've tried ) ,my oxycodone has been cut by 30% and I'm not doing well,I can't do much of anything now and very little quality of life.

Brief Answer:
Epidural analgesia can help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If you are allergic to all the anti inflammatory medicines then opioid analgesics is the only option. However oral muscle relaxants can be helpful.Physical therapy will help if done regularly. To have an improvement in quality of life epidural analgesia can be tried.I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
