My Question Is Can Sore Throat Alone Be The Initial Symptom Of HIV?
Question: Hello Dr.
I had a encounter with a escort about 3 weeks back it was just a hand job but after ejaculation I saw there was a little blood in my Siemens i was shocked and checked her hand thoroughly there were no cut or bleeding iam still in confusion as how there was blood in my Siemen there was no cut in my penis or foreskin also .
After 1 week of the incident i developed severe cough and sore throat, after round of antibiotics cough subsided with in 3 days but sore throat is there till now but i don't have any other symptoms like fever, rashes, nausea, diarrhea fatigue etc it's only sore throat.
My question is can sore throat alone be the initial symptom of HIV.
