Brief Answer:
Uveitis is a progressive disease that is difficult to control. Discuss

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I hope your health otherwise is good.

As I had mentioned earlier, uveitis is a difficult condition to treat but blurring of vision is likely due to recurrence of cataract.

I am sorry about the difficulties you are facing due to this frustrating eye problem.

However, with adequate treatment, uveitis can be controlled well but in cases where the cause is either genetic or autoimmune then treatment becomes difficult and can recur often.

Please upload the reports and the list of medicines you are currently on for this problem, I will go through them and let you know what more can be done to help you to the best of my ability.

Wishing you speedy recovery.

Warm regards

Dear doctor,
Thx for the quick answer besides your busy runnng schedule.
1.Currently as such I am not taking any medicine for uveitis.
2.My opthalmologist ,in every visit takes eye pressure, number test, checks the spects. He does never dialate the eye.He has asked me to put Pred Forte once in a day.
3.But I hardly use pred forte ,may be once in a week because I found those drops cause cataract.(I experienced this when first time I was diagnosed uveitis.after prolong use of these drops,I got cataract in my right eye.that is my notion.
4.I said that my vision is detoriating.actually due to uveitis,I find floaters which causes reduced vision and heaviness of the eye is irritating.
5.I take Nu eye tablets once in a day,
pl suggest the remedy for this chronic pain,

Brief Answer:
Surgical treatment can be tried for floaters, need second opinion

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Thank you for writing back to me with further details.

If you are not taking any medicines, there are multiple options available to control uveitis.

You can try Methotrexate, or Tacrolimus or Adalimumab, all of these are different types of immunomodulators.

They reduce the inflammation and decrease the frequency of flaring up of inflammation.

However, these medicines do have serious side effects in some people, so proper and careful follow up with the treating physician is a must.

You will have to consult an immunologist and another eye surgeon and get their opinion.

If the cataract has already been removed, then recurrence of cataract is less likely in which case even prednisolone (pred forte) can work well.

Sometimes it is difficult to treat uveitis because the underlying cause is autoimmune response that affects the whole body so the treatment should be aimed at reducing the immune response in the whole of the body and not just the eyes.

Even intraocular implants containing steroids are used in some countries.

You can discuss these options with your doctor and also consult the immunologist.

I hope that answers your query.

Best regards

Brief Answer:
Diet or hormones do not matter.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

1. There is no diet that can help in your case, but in general diets rich in vitamins A and B complex will be good for eye health, so you can include eggs, and carrots in your diet.

2. No, hormonal imbalance has nothing to do with uveitis, please do not worry about that.

3. Yes, eye strain can cause fatigue and headaches, so limit screen time and take frequent breaks from watching TV and computer. It is good to know that you are not using computer much at the office.

4. After cataract surgery, accomodation is lost because the artificial lens can not adjust like out natural lens while we see closer objects, so you should get a spectacle particularly for this reason and you must ask your doctor for it. Spects are a must after cataract surgery.

5. Use spects, and try to take frequent breaks in between your work, 2 minutes of closing the eyes and walking around will help in relieving your symptoms.

6. Unfortunately there are no such exercises, but frequent breaks in concentration and looking away from what you are doing for 5 to 10 seconds every 5 minutes will make things better.

I am sorry for keeping you waiting for my answer, I was not well myself, had fever from 2 days.

I sincerely hope you feel better soon.

My warmest regards to you and your family.

Take care of your health.
