My Sister Pregnant With Pain Near Thorax(Chest Area), Slight Pain Below Arm Pit?
Question: Hi Doctor,
My Sister is a Pregnant women, by 18th March she will be completing 9 months. Problem is she is getting pain near thorax(Chest area), slight pain below arm pit, getting a pain near throat (what ever she eats or drinks), having slight cough. Can you please suggest or advice what she can do at this point. Is this a expected behaviour at this time.?In a couple of days she will be visiting a doctor.

Hello dear,
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
In my opinion her symptoms are suggestive of viral infection ( Upper respiratory tract infection) so she should drink a lot of lukewarm water,steam inhalation with karvol plus.
If fever is persistent we can give her antibiotic course and medication for fever because now a days very common infection
