                                            Question : My six month old baby is having rashes on his face and hands.

It would be better if you can send some pictures to see and help you exactly .
I usually suggest any calamine lotion on such rash . Avoid cosmetics and powder .

I have seen the picture .
Nowadays we see more of this kind of viral rash due to coxackie virus , called hand foot mouth disease. It is very common , nothing new .
But it has no medicines or vaccines .
No need to worry . It will increase for a few days and settle in a week .
No treatment is usually required .
Use calamine lotion and feed him frequently.
Avoid other kids to come near him for a week .
It will fully recover , usual diet , regular bathing can be done
