Brief Answer:
Can be a muscle pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in the top of the thighs can be related to a muscle pain- myalgia. This can also be due to electrolyte imbalance, decreased fluid intake or a muscle spasm. Regular stretching of the muscles, increasing the fluid intake, fresh fruits and mild pain killers can help in improving the symptoms. You can also do a hot compress for relief.
I hope this answers your query.
