Brief Answer:
You need to stay in quarantine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

You are a close contact to your wife and it is recommended that close contacts stay in quarantine for 14 days even though you may be negative.
You may develop symptoms from 2-14 days after exposure.
If you develop symptoms you may need to get retested but if you don't develop there is no need to get retested before starting work.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
