Hello!
Welcome on - Ask a Doctor - service!
I understand your concern and would like to explain that it seems your wife probably may have some adverse reaction from any physical or chemical or microbic component
Shivering leads to muscle hyperactivity and heart production. As a result temperature may rise.
Once the adverse component is avoid, everything is OK.
If the complaints persist it may be a respiratory inflammation.
Anyway, I recommend consulting with her attending doctor if the problem persists.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
In case of any further questions feel free to ask me again.
Kind regards,
