My Wife, Who Is Also Covered In My Health Policy,

Question: My wife, who is also covered in my health policy, has a condition. Her upper lip is very dry, chappy, skin is peeling n slightly swelling while her lower lip is fine. There is no pain but it is numb. Since lockdown, she is not exposed to sunlight and is also not applying any makeup n cosmetics. what can it be and what can she do to cure the condition? Please help...

Hi,

I received the image.

It appears to be simple Cheilitis, this could have occured due to dryness of the lips.

If the regular petroleum jelly or Lip balm has not helped, advice her to take B complex capsules for 15 days along with application of liquid paraffin based lip balms. This will solve the issue.
