Brief Answer:
sinus or cyst disorder. needs additional information please.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my surgical experience, long term opening over back with sticky
fluid discharge can be sinus or cyst disorder most likely.
The routine case requires surgical excision for permanent solution.

However, I would like to know further details so that better guidelines can be figured out accordingly.

1. Exact site of the opening over back of left side, if possible and no
objection a high resolution photo pic image of the same will serve best.
2. Are there any skin changes in surrounding area ?
3. Do you have diabetes ?

Awaiting for your response.
Regards.
