Question : have been suffering from tinea cruris or jock itch (groin, thighs, neck etc.) from last few weeks, need help to mitigate it
Brief Answer:
Photograph required
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Tinea infection requires treatment with topical or oral antifungals depending upon the extent of involvement.
You can start applying ointment Luliconazole twice daily for a month.
If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help in giving a closer diagnosis and better way of management.
Thank you.

Thanks a lot Doctor Rahul!
Some photographs of groin, thigh areas indicating the extent of infection. I have been facing the problem for ~ a month now, it has reduced a lot after using tropical antifungal ointments, however, itching and infection seems to have returned. I will look to start with Luliconazole, also - please advise if any other diagnosis or medications would be needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up and photographs.
You can continue with Luliconazole twice daily along with this also use KZ soap.
Iron your undergarments daily.
Do this for a month.
If you get adequate response then treatment needs to be continued for at least 6 months.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
