NEXIUM is a proton pump inhibitor which reduces acid secretion also prevents formation of gastric acid.

It is used in the treatment of dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Nexium contains Esomeprazole .

Generic versions of Esomeprazole are available in several countries of Europe, India, Nigeria, Africa, XXXXXXX Lanka, Cambodia and Myanmar under the brand name Raciper.

There are six available medications in this class and only some of them have generic equivalents.

NEXIUM does not have a generic equivalent at present in United states.

You can try for Omeprazole tablets , which are easily available in united states and other countries consulting your doctor.
