Question : I am 74 years old and have discovered a black spot about 3/8" by 1" in size on my penis. Is this normal?

Do not panic.
This is a melanoma you are talking about.
A picture would have helped a lot.
This is a usual occurrence at this time of life.
Please see a dermatologist if the lesion suddenly enlarges, changes colour or itches.
Otherwise please don't be worried its just excessive pigmentation of a localised part of the skin
Consult your doctor if the problem persists.
