Hello
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Can reduced dose of razo d and take pantocid d (20 + 10 mg) before dinner and sos in morning if required. its is half dose of razo d.
Taking full dose antacid is not good in long run.
SUggest try following things which will help you to control symptoms in long run,
1. eat on time
2. exercise regularly (indoor as much as possible)
3. develop some hobbies
4. go for regular walk
5. sleep adequately for 8 hrs
6. avoid stress
7. don't self medicate yourself with medication
8. drink plenty of cleaner water
9. do some yoga and mind relaxation techniques
10. avoid tea, coffee, aerated drinks, smoking, alcohol if any. Also avoid citrus food like oranges, sweet lime, lemon etc.
11. dont sleep or lye down 2 hrs after meals
all this will help you in long run.
hope this answers your query.
happy to help
wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions.
I have few clarifications about the suggested medication.
1) Is there any specific time gap to be maintained between taking the tablet and dinner? I did not understand what sos in the morning means.
2) Do I need to take this tablet as a course for certain duration or only when facing the problem?
3) Can I take moderate amounts of fried food or avoid it completely and also how about seeds and grains?
Please advise.
I will try my level best to follow the points mentioned in your response.
Thanks,
Murali.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your query.
Answer to them
1) 20 minutes is time gap between night medicine and dinner.
2) sos means as an when required or when symptoms arise.
3) now since you will be reducing dose from razo d to pantocid d you can take it for 3 weeks and then stop and see.
4) excess oily spicy need to be avoided but in moderation ok. no issues with seeds and grain can take them.
Best wishes.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
