Brief Answer:
A late complication of minor head injury to be considered.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Yes, a problem with the middle or inner ear may produce symptoms like yours.

But, since there is trauma too, a late complication of minor head injury such as subdural hematoma that may cause similar symptoms with yours should be considered as well.

For this purpose, in my opinion, a CT scan of the head is necessary even to exclude this possibility.

Discuss with your Doctor for these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

thank you very much, a ct scan was done when the injury happened, it was clean, but does it mean i need a new one ? When i exercised, i went slow, no head bobbing or jumping, yes my heart rate went up a bit, and i felt fine, could doing too much have created the ear ringing ? Thank you very much XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
In such case, no need for a new CT scan.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Since you had a clear CT scan, in my opinion, there is no need for a new one

Post-concussive syndrome may be a possible explanation for these symptoms.

Physical activity including exercises may worsen these symptoms, so, there is a chance that the exercises you mentioned may have aggravated a little your condition.

In cases like yours is advisable to see your Neurologist and to get evaluated further in order to understand correctly your condition.

Hope I helped you.

Feel free to discuss with me if you have further questions.
