On Thursday Evening, I Took Just A Few Bites Of

Earlier today, I was out for a long walk. I was feeling OK, but then I wasn't. My mouth got incredibly dry and I had difficulty wallowing. I got back home, got some water, and I'm OK again. I know I have the gastroenterology appointment Monday, but I'd like some words of wisdom now. Could a build-up of phlegm/mucus be causing all of these issues? If so, what are solutions? If not, what could be?

Answer given below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Some of the possible causes are postnasal drip, gastroesophageal reflux disease with globus pharyngeus and sometimes even simple severe dehydration
If the symptoms are persistent, EGD Scopy may be done to rule out if anything is causing obstruction.
