Question : On about three different occasions I have had a pain that starts in my ear or jaw and radiates painfully down my throat into my chest. i find it difficult to breathe and the pain worsens for about 10 minutes and then it is gone. I have had a full workup done on my heart in the last two months, but am still afraid. Heart disease is very much a factor in my family. Should I be concerned?

Hii. Please do a ECG and echocardiogram and see whether and see whether there any abnormality in the reports. If there is any abnormality in the findings then you can carry out a stress echocardiogram with treadmill test. Most of the time acid reflux may present with similar type of pain. You can take omeprazole tablet. Drink plenty of water. Avoid spicy food. Lead healthy lifestyle and stress free life.
