I think there is some confusion.Ovulation is release of mature ovum from an ovary.After ovulation mature ovum is ready to get conceived...So without ovulation there can't be conception.Ovulation is 14 days prior to expected date of menses...&it can be predicted by LH surge test a couple of days prior to the ovulation.
This means ovulation test will be +ve before conception ... ovulation test will not be +ve after pregnancy.
Now, it's sure that you did not conceive before 28th Dec....but as you are trying for baby&there can be possibility of late ovulation &late conception.(as I have explained in last answer.)..you should not take any medicine for induction of periods unless advised by doctor.
If you don't get period till 19th Jan(22 days after ovulation...(provided the bleeding you had on 28th was ovulation bleeding)...the test would be positive if you have late ovulation &late pregnancy...
otherwise consult a gynecologist for further diagnosis/after investigations.
