Question : PFA reports for 55 year male kindly confirm diagnosis and prognosis of case
Brief Answer:
Hello dear. This is known as hepatic steatosis or fatty liver
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome to ask a doctor. I have gone through the reports. It is suggestive of hepatic steatosis otherwise known as fatty liver as reflected in your GGT report and ultrasound. Common causes of this condition is either obesity, diabetes or alcohol intake. I will advise the patient to loose weight if he is obese and quit alcohol if he consumes alcohol. This condition is reversible and the prognosis is good.
Please feel free to ask further queries.
Thanks and regards
