Question: Pain and tenderness in right testicle slight swelling. Painful ejaculation. And pressure when sitting. Symptoms have been persistent over the past 7-10 days. I am in california on and have another 6 days until ill be home. Should i go to a hospital now or when i get home?

Based on the facts that you have posted the pain and tenderness in Right Testicle that you have is mostly due to infection of either Epididymis (Epididymitis) Or Testis (Orchitis .However the diagnosis can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified Surgeon and Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum

Since you are in U S it will be a very expensive for you to get these tests done there,

Taking Doxicycline and anti inflammatory drug like Bruphen twice daily will reduce the pain .These drugs are freely available over the counter in Wallmart and Cotsco.

You may consult qualified Urologist after coming back to XXXXXXX

Ensure to dink more water

Using Scrotal support will help to reduce the discomfort.

Ok, i notice the pain goes away when im laying down. Last question how long should it take for it to subside, or after how long should i go to a hospital if they do not.
