Question : Feeling pain in index finger, elbow, shoulder and wrist...I believe this is called RSI (Repititive Strain Injury). I want to know, if its safe to use hand gripper for muscle strength?

                                    Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain you are having has been diagnosed as thoracic outlet syndrome by your orthopedician after examination. It involves compression of the nerve roots causing the pain.
Using a hand gripper will not affect the problem. You can continue using it in moderation. This will definitely help in enhancing the muscle strength.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Praveen Tayal.
