Question : Every night my husband fights (kicks and punches) during sleep. He gets very strong.

It looks like your husband is suffering from periodic limb movement disorder. But to come to this conclusion I need to know more about this problem

1. What is his height and weight?
2. Does he snore?
3. Does he have day time sleepiness ?
4. Does he keep shaking his leg when awake too?
5. When was the last time thyroid function was checked and what were the values?

Answers to these questions will help me come to a diagnosis
