Question : Hi,
It has been 15 months I have shifted to XXXXXXX Past couple of months on my scalp I can see few areas are getting dry and it itches, white color dead cells which looks like dandruff comes up. It itches very much, after itching the scalp becomes red and blood like skin comes out and get little bit burning sensation. Initially it was on a small portion on my head but day by day they are spreading over the scalp. At the same time the rate of hairfall got increased. Initially I thought due to winter season I have got dandruff but I can see its there all the time. Need help and guidance to get rid of this issue.
The texture of my hair is rough and frizzy.

Hi,
I have gone through your complaints and you seem to be having seborrhoic dermatitis which is a severe form of dandruff.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to go for an anti dandruff shampoo containing ketoconazole and salicylic acid combination twice weekly and apply a lotion containing combination of beclomethasone and clotrimazole on the itchy areas of the scalp twice daily.
For itching take antihistaminic like tablet fexofenadine 180 mg twice daily for few days.
Once the scaling and itching reduces you can slowly taper off the lotion but need to continue with the shampoo.
Since its a medicated shampoo it can cause dryness, you can use any good conditioner along with it.
