Past Few Months, I Have Very Tiny Red Spots On

Question: Past few months, I have very tiny red spots on tip of tongue (flat, not raised) that feel like they are burning. At the same time of noticing this, I lost both my sense of taste and to some extent, even smell. I have tried a variety of home remedies and some medications doctor has given me with no relief. Could these red spots be related in any way to losing taste? And any suggestions for relief? Thanks

Hi, First of all thank you for approaching us for your query.I read through your query. The red spots at the tip of the tongue can be enlarged papillae (finger like projection on the tongue). It can be due to either burn while having too hot food stuffs or acidic food or too spicy food. I suggest you to send me pics of the red spots so that I can give a clear treatment for it.
