Brief Answer:
Patient has suffered from large brain stroke.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have seen patient's reports and read about her clinical condition. She has suffered a new stroke affecting blood supply to the left side of brain. The report also shows another stroke (older) on the right side of brain. This means that she has reduced blood flow to both sides of brain. This is responsible for her unconscious state.

There is no specific medicine at this stage to restore the blood supply. She needs physiotherapy and supportive treatment (tube feeding, good nursing care, etc). She is likely to improve slowly over time (several weeks to a few months).

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
