Question : Periodic sensation of an overall body ache. Feels like sore muscles, but involves legs, feet, arms, chest, upper and lower back—- essentially all over. Accompanied by a slight headache and slight contraction of throat muscles. Most often takes place while asleep at night. Wakes me up and cannot get back to sleep until the sensation subsides. When symptoms subside, I feel normal. Has been going on now for a couple of weeks. What could this be and what should I do about it?

I read your query and here is my advice.

There is a possibility of these symptoms coming as a result of taking too much calcium.
I want to know the dosage that you are having and for how long have you been taking it? Why doctor recommend it to you?
Taking too much calcium can give the side effects of overall muscle pain and fatigue and throat contractions, constipation etc.
I can recommend you to stop taking it.
It may give more serious side effects such heart arrhythmia and hypertension.
