Question : ok i had an abortion about a week ago where i saw a few blood clots they did a pregnancy test twice and there is a faint pink line showing very light

Thanks for posting your query.

The pregnancy test detects a hormone HCG in urine. These hormones remain elevated in body for number of weeks after abortion.

This is detectable in urine for about 2-4 weeks post abortion also, so you get the pregnancy test positive.

Please do not worry, keep your regular follow up with your doctor.
