Brief Answer:
Regarding white spots on face of a child
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.
White spots on face in children are most commonly an innocuous finding. The most common cause is Pityriasis due to underlying dryness of skin, however, other causes like vitiligo may also present with white spots.
After reviewing the image, you son seems to have pityriasis which presents as ill defined white patches like this. I suggest you to use a moisturizer on his face. Avoid soaps. You may also use cortisone cream, just for the white patches after applying the moisturizer. It is available OTC.
Take care. Let me know if you need any more assistance
