Question : Hi, my daughter is 5yrs old & suffering from stomach pain & vomiting since last night. She is not able to keep food down. She weighs 17.5kg. I am planning to give her ondem syrup but not sure of the dosage. Please help.
Please also suggest a medicine for the stomach pain.

Brief Answer:
Give 10ml of Ondem syrup

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

This might suggest acute gastritis or a prodrome of acute gastro-enteritis(bowel infection).

For vomiting, you can give 10ml of Ondem syrup 2-3 times daily. Give this 1 hour before food.
For abdominal pain, you can give 5ml of Paracetamol suspension(250mg/5ml) 3 times daily, after food.
Also, let her have a soft diet and avoid spicy/fried items and pickles. Give food in small frequent amounts.

Continue these measures for 48-72 hours. She will be alright by then. If not, or if she develops additional symptoms, let me know
