Hi,

Knee joint pain has wide range of cause. It isn't possible to understand the problem without a good clinical examination and radiological test. So to help you better, please provide more information such as:
1. Your age?
2. Since when do you the knee pain?
3. Is it involving one knee or both?
4. Did you hurt yourself?
5. Do you notice swelling along with pain?
6. Is the pain worse at any point in the day (worse in the morning / evening)?
7. Do you notice joint stiffness?
8. May I know your current weight and height?
9. Do you have diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid condition, or any other problem?

In the meanwhile if the pain is severe, I would start you on tab Etoshine MR twice a day for a day or two along with rest and cold compresses (ice) on the affected knee.
