Question : Please help! I have had itching on my vagina for over 5 months I got tested for stds and was clear. But the itching is extreme, I scratched so bad that my vagina labia major and perineum became raw bright red it hurt to pee. I got a bikini wax to rip away all of the skin and hair so I can heal properly it was working but I started it heavily scratching again in my sleep. Every day new wounds would appear. I searched online and tried sleeping with gloves on and slathering on vaseline and applying a wet cold cloth over my vagina at night but it doesn’t work I wake up scratching. Please help I don’t know what to do I’m afraid to go to sleep!! Attached is pictures before the wax and today.

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the images.

Seems like you could be suffering from a yeast infection. I suggest you to take an oral antifungal e.g either fluconazole or itraconazole for 2 weeks. Topically you may use either clotrimazole 1% or ketoconazole 2% cream, twice daily. In addition I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg tablet once a day for symptomatic relief from itching. Take care.
