                                            Question : Brief Answer:
There is a tear in planter fascia which needs pain killers and physiotherapy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your report and here is my opinion.
There is a tear in Plantar fascia (strong thick layer of fibrous tissue present beneath the skin on the sole of the dorsal aspect of foot) which is an injury characterized by acute pain in the arch of the foot.
It may be due to a chronic stress on the fascia due to overuse.
Usually the heel pain is intense in such patients so the first priority is to reduce pain and inflammation.
To such patients, over the counter analgesics like Acetaminophen,Ibuprofen and Naproxen are advised in addition to local application of ice.
Physical therapy, modalities like Ultrasound and medical laser have clinically proven role to reduce the inflammation.
Hope that I have answered your query.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
