Please See The Attached Blood Of My Son Aged 6 Yrs Report And Provide Your Guidance

Question: My son (aged 6 years) was having fever when he returned from school on Friday 16/09/2022 around noon time and it was around 100.5’ F at that time. We have given him 7.5ml of Dolo 250 syrup 2 doses with 6 hours gap on that day. The fever reduced when gave him this syrup, but the temperature raised again after a few hours. On Saturday 17/09/2022, we consulted a physician in the nearby clinic and the doctor prescribed Ventimox CV DS syrup for one week (6ml twice daily after food) and Multiprex syrup for two weeks (5ml twice daily after food). We started this course on 17/09/2022 and there is no fever since then (even when we are not giving paracetamol syrup). Dr suggested taking a few blood tests and recommended consulting a paediatrician for further advice. I’ve attached the test report for your reference. Please see the attached report and provide your guidance. His height is around 120 cms and weight is 24.15 kgs. Thank you
Brief Answer:
No need to worry will settle
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
I have seen the report.
Based on the report dengue is negative . Mild elevation in CRP is common in seasonal fevers . If fever is settled now , no need to treat further .
Only thing is low hemoglobin which needs iron supplements.
Can give any iron syrup like Tonoferon 5 ml once daily for 3 months
