Question : I am having sore throat and blocked nose with feverish feeling and mild headache since yesterday afternoon. I could not sleep last night because of soreness in throat . Today also I have feverish feeling, sore throat , mild headache and nose irritation like common cold . Please suggest me something which I can take at home and feel better and have restful of sleep.

Hi thanks for posting your query
The symptoms looks like viral flu
Take Paracetamol 650 mg 3 times a day
In the night take 1 tablet of levocet 10 mg
Do steam inhalation.
Have plenty of warm fluids
If still the symptoms persist after 3 days you'll need a course of antibiotics I usually prescribe Tab. Amoxclav 625mg in my practice
