Thanks for writing to us.
Most of the symptoms you mentioned is usually a normal common cold in this age because of viral infection.
I would suggest for such patients if n my clinic
1. Antihistamine like Cetrizine syrup 5 ml at night
2. Nasal saline drops one drop each nose any number of times for nose block.
3. Paracetamol for fever as per the weight approximately 5 ml of 250 syrup can be given only if fever present every 6 hours
If this doesn’t work or he gets worse it is better to get him examined at a nearby clinic or hospital to check his throat and lungs for infection
