Brief Answer:
PCOS is a possibility

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
You can go for a brtaHCG test to check whether you are pregnant or not.
Other possible causes for delayed or irregular period is PCOS(polycystic ovarian syndrome). If the periods are delayed despite negative pregnancy test, an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis is required to rule out PCOS.
A thyroid function test(TFT) also be required as thyroid hormone irregularities can also cause menstrual irregularities.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
