Question : Hello, I`ve been having the second time some symptoms, that are unusual and very unsettling. It starts with a weird pressure in my right ear, then I get a kind of "drop down" feeling in my chest and then my resting heart rate goes up suddenly from around 70 to 110, I get dizzy and have over all discomfort feeling in my body, then tightness in the chest and tingling in arms and feet. The heartrate and that feeling goes on for about 30 minutes and then slowly goes away, but the dizziness and tingling remains for another hour or so. Your symptoms can occur due to wide range of conditions including ENT problems, cardiac issues, thyroid issues, panic attacks, and neurological disorders.
The most important ones to be ruled out are cardiac-related issues and hyperthyroidism (increase in circulating thyroid hormone levels).
So a detailed physical evaluation is required followed by blood investigations including complete blood profile, thyroid function test, and EKG are required at this point.
