Question: Pre pregnancy I was suffering from depression and mood disorder. Doctor has advised to continue Oleanz 2.5 which I was taking half the dose as I was thinking that it may effect the baby. During most of the time in my pregnancy period I couldnt get sound sleep. I only used to rest during the night time. But sleep was very little. During pregnancy I was suffering from body pain and aches which didn't go away by massaging. Dr prescribed Calcium, iron and vitamin D capsules which I was taking regularly. I had my csection delivery on 28th sept. The night before I couldn't sleep due to hospital disturbance. On the OT night my gynaecologist gave sleeping pills as I couldn't sleep. The sleeping pills continued for 3 days. Meanwhile my psychistrist advised me to withdraw the oleanz 2.5 dose completely which I was taking half the dose. After that I was sleep deprived for a few days but after that I was getting sound sleep. Meanwhile i developed post partum depression due to pressure from inlaws. I recovered from the same few days back. Now everything is normal. But I couldn't get sound sleep due to worries of the child. Preently I have no other probs except body pain which occurs mostly at night. Is this due to sleep deprivation.will it remain life long. I didn't do any body massage post delivery.

Baby has breastfeed on and off for nearly 2 months and is completely refusing to breastfeed now. Can it lead to breast cancer later in life??? How can i restart breast feeding now. Presently I am experiencing pain in the left breast and more milk production in the left compared to the right one.

Brief Answer:
you can try pumping milk and bottle feeding

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for reaching out at Ask A Doctor
In your situation it is unlikely to develop breast cancer but you could develop abscess incase of milk accumulation .As you have mentioned pain in left breast it might be due to milk accumulation ,you can try warm compression and squeezing out excess milk to ease the pain .If baby is refusing to breast feed you could try pumping and storing the milk and offering in feeding bottle with proper sterilization methods.
Incase you develop fever and excess pain visit a gynecologist for further management
