Question : My wife is 6 week and 5 days pregnant. We did an ultrasound today and its mentioned in the report XXXXXXX Small Subchorionic bleed noted in the lower pole meas. 7 x 6mm". Please explain what it means and is there anything do about it. Our doctor has given an appointment only after 5 days. We little worried about this note.

The cytotec can cause temporary hormonal imbalance which can last for next 2-3 cycles but not for years, so this problem is not related to past cytotec.
How is her obstetric history please put a brief details of children and abortions, mode of delivery if any.
The size of subchorionic bleed is small but is ominous in first semester.
Please ensure that she has enough bed rest, not go out for job, avoid travel, and review the ultrasound in a week. Get her blood investigation like complete blood counts, PT, aPTT to rule out if she has got any coagulopathy.
If there is any pain abdomen, any bleeding from genital passage you must report immediately to a gynecologist in equipped set-up.
I would advise you to keep a help at hand from a gynecologist of your locality.
