Question : Hi, this is about my wife who is pregnant for about 19 weeks, is having cough since few days. She said its dry and we need suggestions on some medicine thats safe for her

Thanks for your query.

The best and safest remedy for dry cough in pregnant women would be steam inhalation. Steam inhalation taken three times a day with Eucalyptus oil in it would help to get rid of the cough.

Do not allow her to take any medication for the cough, as such medications would harm her.
